Overview

Housing conflicts can be stressful, emotional, and overwhelming for both tenants and landlords. I bring extensive experience guiding people through tension to reach practical, sustainable agreements. With a foundation in social work and in-depth training in mediation and dialogue facilitation, I offer a calm and grounded presence to ensure you feel heard and supported, especially when things are challenging. My approach focuses on dignity, accountability, and solutions you can truly work with.

Professional Experience

I’ve collaborated with people on all sides of housing conflict, from tenants facing loss of housing to landlords navigating communication breakdowns. In every situation, I bring a trauma-informed and people-centered approach that supports honest conversation and long-term resolution.

I currently run From the Heart, a restorative conflict resolution practice based in Denver. I work with individuals, families, and organizations to move through conflict with clarity and compassion, whether related to housing, family dynamics, or workplace tensions. I specialize in facilitating emotionally charged conversations and helping people build agreements they can trust.

Before starting my practice, I served as a Conciliation Specialist with the U.S. Department of Justice, where I facilitated dialogue in high-stakes community conflicts involving identity-based harm and mistrust between communities and public institutions. I’ve also worked in family court settings, supported parents through custody and co-parenting disputes, and led restorative justice processes in schools and community spaces.

Whatever the situation, my goal is to guide you through conflict in a way that feels respectful, clear, and empowering. I take a heart-centered approach that gets to the root of what’s going on and allows you to move forward with confidence.
