Professional Experience
Daniel (“Dan”) Rowe has facilitated dialogue, training, and community engagement in local, state, national, and international settings. With 15 years of experience serving communities in healthcare, social service, international development, and peacebuilding, Dan’s approach is grounded in his respect for the self-determination of all communities — in defining their needs, addressing them, and shaping their future. In pursuit of this, he has built capacity and coached leaders across sectors in frontline service, dialogue practice, conflict navigation, and violence prevention. He has also connected communities to resources and mediated systemic conflicts in the process.
Regarding his credentials, Dan holds an MS in Conflict Management and Peacebuilding with an international focus from Kennesaw State University and a BS in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida. He is a registered mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, having mediated approximately 100 cases and previously served with the Mediation Center of Coastal Georgia where he provided de-escalation trainings impacting hundreds in and beyond Savannah, GA. He is also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Ghana 2016-2018). He has made past contributions to efforts furthering the field of peacebuilding in the United States, including, but not limited to, Ohio State University’s Divided Communities Project and Princeton University’s Bridging Divides Initiative.
