Sadie Cort is an Alternative Dispute Resolution Consultant. Experienced in the practices of Mediation, Conflict Coaching, Training and Facilitation, Sadie facilitates dialogue in which parties feel heard and guides them in navigating difficult conversations.
Professional Experience
With a background in Early Childhood Development and special needs Behavioral Therapy, Sadie
specializes in school and family based conflicts with the humble intention to set children and families up
to succeed in the educational setting and beyond.
Sadie is a trainer and speaker, offering talks on Conflict Resolution strategies for Special Education
practitioners and families. She is an Adjunct Assistant Mediation Professor at Portland Community
College Utilizing a collaborative approach, Sadie mediates an assortment of disputes including small claims, workplace, landlord/tenant, family, and education.
With a deep belief in the transformational power of dialogue, Sadie supports her clients to identify root
causes of conflicts and aids them in brainstorming options to move forward. Conflict is normal! Sadie is
ready to assist you in obtaining the tools to navigate high conflict encounters and find confidence in
voicing your needs and values.
Sadie obtained a degree in Conflict Resolution from Portland State University. Sadie is a member of the
Southern California Mediation Association and volunteers for Centinela Youth Services, Multnomah
County Small Claims Court and West Marin Community Mediation.
Outside of her work, Sadie can be found surfing and doing the occasional novice sewing project.
