Public Disputes & Consensus Building Digest Vol. 1 Issue 3

As fall sets in and the leaves begin to change — or rather, as the heat begins to finally let up, depending on your location — the final stretch of the year is upon us! It’s that time again to settle into a comfy chair with a warm cup of coffee or tea to read the latest selection of resources and content, brought to you by the Public Disputes & Consensus Building committee of the American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolution. Y’all are in for some compelling material, as always!

Although we have not selected a theme with past issues or with the current one, keen readers may notice that several pieces align with the forthcoming issue of Just Resolutions on the topic of Artificial Intelligence and its impact (existing and anticipated) on dispute resolution. My colleagues Tina Patterson and Loraine Della Porta have been great sounding boards for past issues of the Digest as with this one, and the synergies between us have made the synergies between the Digest and Just Resolutions come to light. I hope that the undercurrents from our insightful conversations will be shared by our readership! I also want to acknowledge and thank our committee’s immediate past co-chair Terry Amsler for his foundational guidance in the initial phases of starting and growing the Digest, and for your time as co-chair – thank you Terry!

As always, we welcome our readers (in and beyond the ABA) to contribute to the conversation by commenting on this post, circulating the content as you see fit, and certainly by suggesting content using this form.
